Primary
Function of
CHF
The primary
function of
CHF is to set a central location for our organization to gather each
year at
the NCAA Frozen Four. Generally, as a group we do the following items
each year:
- We reserve a
limited
number of rooms that are available to our members on a first come,
first
served basis. There is no requirement that members have to stay
with us
at the selected hotel. This is only to allow us to gather
together.
- Conduct
an Annual
Meeting during the Frozen Four weekend to report back the general
membership,
to discuss future tournament accommodations/activities and get
feedback
from our membership.
- Have a
group photo
to record the event for posterity.
There may be
other events/efforts
organized by individual members willing to take on the responsibility to organize these events. These events are strictly optional for our members. For example,
- A hospitality
room may be set up as a central place to meet people and talk and/or
complain
about the
games.
- Organize a group
meal on Thursday before/after the Frozen Four Semi-Final games.
- Tour events
to experience the local city's sights, sounds, foods, and beverages.
Membership
InformationCHF has annual
membership
dues of $5 per mailing address. This is the only requirement to
maintain active
status within our organization. As an active member, you will receive
the following
benefits:
- Receive the Ice
Chips Newsletter containing information about CHF updates and
other
important information. The newsletter is published periodically.
- Reserve
rooms through
CHF at our selected hotel.
If you are
interested in
becoming a member or have other questions, send
